After a chance encounter in a welding class, she found her way into blacksmithing — a practice that has since become a cornerstone of her work. Over the years, she’s explored a range of mediums including reclaimed wood, found objects, pastels, watercolors, acrylic, and clay. But it is copper that has most captured her attention in recent years. Warm, responsive, and alive, copper allows for a continued exploration of movement, texture, and form.
