Vera's Iron and Vine, my retail store, opened in 2018, and in 2020, I began renovating a former fiddlehead cannery in Wilton, Maine, transforming it into my creative space, now called Belle Creative arts. Here, I craft and assemble mixed media, found object art, refined artisan jewelry, pottery, and one-of-a-kind pieces. You’ll often find me in my overalls, happily chatting with anyone who comes to visit!

that operated for 4 generations in Wilton, Maine.
What is the future of the space?
The mission of the 'Belle creative arts center' is to foster exploration
and creativity in an inspiring, collaborative environment among
working artists and craftsmen, providing a nurturing place for adults
and children to focus on their individual artistic expression.
It's a long time dream launching into reality.
Hosting classes, studio time, visiting artists and events will provide that
opportunity to learn together and develop personal skills.
