About the event
There are a multitude of ways to turn one thing into another thing, to find something new inside of something old. To transform and deconstruct.
Join me on a Wednesday night to examine and explore some exciting ways to take a page out of a book and turn it into a poem or a landscape. Or both. We'll play with blackout poetry, whiteout poetry, and different modes of erasure, including but not limited to cutouts, collage and collaborations!
There is no wrong way to erase, to find, or to change. An erasure poem has many faces. Let's get to know them together, whether you're a seasoned poet, a beginner, experiencing writer's block and just looking for a fun new prompt, have never written for fun a day in your life, or just really love arts and crafts.
