Fold forming

Fold forming is used to describe folding softened or annealed metal giving it dimension and sculptural design.

In this workshop you’ll learn how to anneal, fold, forge and push the metal to create organic shapes and twists.

Fold forming is used in sculpture, jewelry design and many other project.

You will leave with a couple of pieces to finish as you wish.

We can talk about patinas and finishes.

Cotton, denim or canvas pants. No synthetic materials. Leather shoes. No nylon or rubber shoes. Hot metal will burn nylon and rubber to your body. Hair must be tied back. Safety glasses provided or bring your own.

Release of Liability for must be signed.

Ideally you have taken a copper workshop[ with me prior to this one.
