Kid’s Art Hour: Painting on Canvas

Join us for a fun morning of painting! Learn how to draw a cute bunny or paint whatever inspires you. $15 per person or 2 for $20: includes an 11x14 canvas, covers the use of all supplies, and instruction. Parents are welcome to join in the fun. Please pre-pay and register at Vera’s Iron & Vine in Farmington. Space is limited to the first 10 people. Don’t forget to wear your painting clothes!

Alexis Burbank is an artist living and working from her native home in Maine where she is inspired by the spirits, plants and animals of the land. She graduated with highest honors in 2014 with a BA in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts and a minor in Book Arts from the University of Maine at Machias. Currently she works part time in preschool classrooms and hopes to continue her practice as an illustrator and art enrichment teacher for all ages.
