Vera's Iron and Vine, my retail store, opened in 2018, and in 2020, I began renovating a former fiddlehead cannery in Wilton, Maine, transforming it into my creative space, now called Belle Creative arts. Here, I craft and assemble mixed media, found object art, refined artisan jewelry, pottery, and one-of-a-kind pieces. You’ll often find me in my overalls, happily chatting with anyone who comes to visit!

Create a Mug
In this 4-evening course, you'll create your mug (or two) on the first night,
refine it and make a second one during the second session, apply underglaze if you wish.
In the third session, you'll glaze it for firing and later pick up your fired pieces, viewing all the completed works with others, sharing a snack, and discussing the final products.
Dress for mess 😉 Be ready to laugh. I'll make one alongside you and help you along.
We'll talk about the slab roller, slab construction, glazes, firing, and underglazes. Clay and glazes for 2 mugs are included.
