Create a Mug

In this four-afternoon course (beginning with Mother's Day, twice a month), you'll craft a mug on the first evening using a pre-rolled slab, stamp, embellish, refine, and learn from the experience. By the second class, you'll be ready to create a second mug!

You can apply underglaze if you choose (to be discussed).

In the third session, we'll talk about glazing your bisque-fired work for the final firing. In the fourth class, you'll pick up your fired pieces if all were glazed and ready, view everyone's completed works, share a snack, and discuss the final products.

Dress for mess 😉 Be prepared to laugh. I'll be making one alongside you. Ages 16 and up

We'll cover topics like the slab roller, slab construction, glazes, firing, and underglazes. Clay and glazes for two mugs are included. You can purchase extra clay if needed.
