Vera's Iron and Vine, my retail store, opened in 2018, and in 2020, I began renovating a former fiddlehead cannery in Wilton, Maine, transforming it into my creative space, now called Belle Creative arts. Here, I craft and assemble mixed media, found object art, refined artisan jewelry, pottery, and one-of-a-kind pieces. You’ll often find me in my overalls, happily chatting with anyone who comes to visit!

About the event
Beginners and seasoned experts welcome.
In this class you'll learn slab construction, pattern application, rolling out and a whole lot of construction.
Pottery requires 2 firings. After the first firing you will return to glaze your piece, then I will fire it the second time once I have a kiln full. Can take 4-6 weeks.
We usually share a snack so bring something if you feel moved to.
There might be another class happening so feel free to park behind off Stockford Avenue and walk up the driveway to the front of the building. There's easily 3 spots out back.
Dress in layers that can get dirty.
