Vera's Iron and Vine, my retail store, opened in 2018, and in 2020, I began renovating a former fiddlehead cannery in Wilton, Maine, transforming it into my creative space, now called Belle Creative arts. Here, I craft and assemble mixed media, found object art, refined artisan jewelry, pottery, and one-of-a-kind pieces. You’ll often find me in my overalls, happily chatting with anyone who comes to visit!

Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned maker, this handbuilding ceramics class welcomes you to share ideas, learn techniques, and get your hands dirty in the best way.
What to Expect:
We’ll dive into the core methods of handbuilding: coil, slab, and hollow forms, along with carving, stamping, underglazes, stains, and glazing techniques. This is a deeply creative and therapeutic process that lets your imagination lead the way—no wheel required!
