When I moved into my house I had to do a LOT OF WORK. This table was the Barn post (holding up the ceiling) that swung when I touched it. Correct.  YIKES!    Of course I kept it. Knowing full well it would become my coffee table. I cut it, sanded it and refinished it. The straps across the top are hand forged.
