Much of my work is a Deeply spiritual process that evolves out of years of experiences and my connection to plants and animals.
My designs evolve as I do.
The Koru (Fiddlehead) is one of the most important symbols of Maori traditions.
It symbolizes life, strength, growth, and peace. Its shape also conveys the idea of perpetual movement forward.
Many processes are involved with this piece. Drawing the original design, etching, printing on copper and finally
hand stitcing the border with sterling silver to frame the final design before finishing with African beads.
Original and one of a kind.
