This hand-tooled copper fiddlehead wall art is inspired by the iconic ferns of Maine, symbolizing renewal, resilience, and the quiet beauty of the natural world. Each botanical form is individually shaped in warm copper, bringing out rich texture, depth, and organic movement.
Framed in reclaimed wood and vintage crown molding sourced from Maine, this piece reflects a deep commitment to restoration, sustainability, and craftsmanship. The contrast between aged wood and luminous copper creates a striking yet grounded presence—perfect for rustic, farmhouse, or nature-inspired interiors.
Each copper element is carefully stitched using my signature cold-connection technique, ensuring that no two pieces are ever alike. I begin by creating individual tooled forms, allowing each one to develop its own character before thoughtfully composing the final piece.
This is more than wall décor—it’s a story of material, place, and process. Ideal for collectors and those who value one-of-a-kind, artisan-made home furnishings.
