This piece is cut from reclaimed copper once part of the Maine State House dome, rich with history and transformed with natural patina.
The Hamsa Hand is an ancient symbol of protection, believed to ward off the evil eye and invite blessings, strength, and harmony.
With roots in many cultures, it offers a timeless message of peace and resilience—now grounded in Maine’s legacy.

Vera's Iron and Vine, my retail store, opened in 2018, and in 2020, I began renovating a former fiddlehead cannery in Wilton, Maine, transforming it into my creative space, now called Belle Creative arts. Here, I craft and assemble mixed media, found object art, refined artisan jewelry, pottery, and one-of-a-kind pieces. You’ll often find me in my overalls, happily chatting with anyone who comes to visit!
