I had so much fun making this set of sgraffito vessels. 
Sgraffito is a surface technique created by applying layers underglazes to leather hard clay and then scratching off parts of the layers to create images and patterns to reveal the clay color underneath 
 
I always say, "Listen to the clay," and this time, it was asking for bright colors, textures, and shapes. 
Perfect for fresh bouquets. 
Funny story: I dressed Lady Miss Keir at a fashion runway show in Seattle in the 90s and have pictures taken with her somewhere. #Grooveisintheheart
