About the event
Recycle your old sheets and t shirts, turn them into something useful and functional. This "old is new again" technique goes back to the late 1800's.
If you already know how to crochet, you're half way there.
You'll also learn Patricia's technique to cut and roll the balls of yarn in a solid long strand, with no knots or tied ends, making the mats easier to crochet.
Taught by Patricia Starbird.
Bring your own scissors and size 11-13 crochet needle if you can.
Materials provided : a ball of pre-rolled "rope"to get you started on your first small project that can easily be made into a small pouch/purse or any number of items.
Patricia is a fun and lively teacher. Be ready to laugh and have fun!
$20 for 2 classes. pre-register and pre pay during store hours
$5 materials fee when you come to class.
