Throwbacks...just saying I was wearing overalls when I was 20. #betsyjohnson was my favorite store in the 90s and I was the smiling goth-not the emo.  I laughed too much for the Bauhaus die hards. I never followed. I blazed my own trail. Along comes baby and I'm a Tom Petty song "you belong among the wildflowers"

I never want to forget these moments Forged in the fires of life's peaks and valleys. Friends made, friends loved and lost. Lessons learned, teachers everywhere.

From Ohio to Seattle to California to DC to Maryland to Seattle to Maine.  Stories-oh I have some great stories.

The next chapter is being written.  I've got dozens of new overalls to carry me through, several pairs gifted to me with incredible stories attached to them.

If you see me in that red truck wearing overalls,  just KNOW 100% that I envisioned that for myself many, many moons ago.

How Babemba Tribe Forgives--by brighteyes, posted Sep 26, 2007

In the Babemba tribe of South Africa, when a person acts irresponsibly or unjustly, he is placed in the centre of the village, alone and unfettered. All work ceases, and every man, woman, and child in the village gathers in a large circle around the accused individual.

Then each person in the tribe speaks to the accused, one at a  time, each recalling the good things the person in the centre of the circle has done in his lifetime. Every incident, every experience that can be recalled with any detail and accuracy, is recounted.  All his positive attributes, good deeds, strengths, and kindnesses are recited carefully and at length.  This tribal ceremony often lasts for several days.

At the end, the tribal circle is broken, a joyous celebration takes place, and the person is symbolically and literally welcomed back into the tribe.

Lucretia my reflection, dance the ghost with me

Sisters of mercy

No party she'd not attend

No invitation she wouldn't send

Transfixed by the inner sound

Of your promise to be found, oh

Nothing or no one

Will ever make me let you down

Kiss them for me

I may be delayed

Kiss them for me

If I am delayed
