This 1800s barn door, I reclaimed myself shortly before the barn was torn down.
The barn was filled with historic pieces and left as if folks were coming right back.
The dust was thick, but the life that existed was palpable.  You could almost hear the animals and feel the hard work of farming. 
These places are going by the wayside. 
We will grieve them when they are no longer.
