BATES college has an ensemble.
I raised my kids with Gamelan in the background, attending many performances with traditional shadow puppet shows. My roommates were in different Seattle groups and my son was BORN while the music played. Very meaningful in my life.
This memory brings up so much more than this particular performance in my gardens.
Many in attendance who've been to Indonesia said following the music through the trees and gardens to find the location was exactly how you find it in Indonesia.
